Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Graduate Teacher
About the role
Working closely with department heads and senior leaders, the successful Graduate Teacher, will work as an academic mentor, delivering Maths & English intervention. They will be responsible for providing targeted support and interventions pupils in Keystage 3 and at GCSE level.
- Ability to meet and work with young people / parents to understand why they are not attending, and put actions in place which will help improve attendance to English and/or maths
- Ability to produce action plans (within a structured framework)
- Ability to work with vocational / English & maths managing staff to communicate with and agree actions / feedback issues where needed
- Experience of learning support desirable
- Experience of English and maths delivery desirable (or a good understanding of GCSE E&M / Functional Skills E&M)
- Ability to empathise as well as challenge in a supportive way
- Ability to work with internal college systems for reporting (or an ability to learn quickly)
This Role would be suitable for Graduate Teaching Assistants, ECT or Fully Qualified Teachers.

£130 to £140 per day
