We are looking for a Flexible SEND Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist primary setting in the Westbury area. This role involves supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties, either 1:1 or in small groups.
Every day brings something new. You will help pupils engage with learning, manage routines, and feel safe and supported throughout their school day. Your work will be guided by teachers and SEN staff, following personalised strategies to meet the needs of each pupil.
This role would suit someone who
• Has experience supporting children with additional or neurodiverse needs, or is eager to develop in this area
• Is patient, calm, and consistent in their approach
• Understands the importance of clear routines, positive reinforcement, and emotional support
• Can assist with sensory needs, behaviour management, and engagement with learning
• Works well as part of a team and follows guidance from school staff
