We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at a thriving primary school in Ashford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping young children flourish in their early stages of learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to pupils in Early Years, both in groups and on a 1:1 basis.

  • Assist with the delivery of engaging and creative learning activities, guided by the class teacher.

  • Support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

  • Provide personal care where required, ensuring the dignity, comfort, and well-being of each child.

  • Help to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with children in Early Years (nursery or reception age) is desirable.

  • A positive, patient, and proactive attitude.

  • Confidence and experience in supporting children with SEN.

  • Willingness and ability to assist with personal care needs.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
