An ambitious and forward-thinking secondary school in Essex is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Teacher of Computing to join its dynamic team.

The role is to begin after Easter on a full-time basis. With the opportunity to apply for a permanent position beginning in September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the digital skills of young people in a well-resourced and supportive environment where innovation and high standards are at the heart of everything we do.

The Role:

Teach Computing across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5)
Deliver engaging lessons in areas such as programming, computer science, and digital literacy
Promote high achievement and a love of problem-solving
Contribute to a collaborative and driven department

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)

  • Has strong subject knowledge in Computing and/or Computer Science

  • Is enthusiastic about emerging technologies and curriculum development

  • Maintains high expectations for behaviour and achievement

  • Is committed to inclusive education and student success

  • ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply
