Behaviour Mentor – SEN Schools | Bristol & Surrounding Areas
Full-Time | Long-Term | Term Time Only | Immediate Start
Hours: 08:30–15:30 | Salary: £13.68 per hour (PAYE, dependent on experience and training)

Vision for Education is working with SEN schools across Bristol and the surrounding areas who are looking to take on a dedicated behaviour mentor to support children and young people with behavioural, emotional, and social needs.
The behaviour mentor role:

Full-time, long-term behaviour mentor position in SEN schools

Term time only, working 08:30–15:30 as a behaviour mentor

Supporting pupils with autism, SEMH, and additional needs as a behaviour mentor

Providing 1:1 behaviour support as a behaviour mentor

Helping pupils manage emotions, routines, and behaviour day to day

Working closely with teachers and support staff as a behaviour mentor

Salary of £13.68 per hour (PAYE)

Has access to a vehicle

Is patient, empathetic, and confident in a behaviour mentor role

Understands safeguarding and professional boundaries
To be considered as a behaviour mentor, you will:

Have a genuine passion for supporting children and young people

Be keen to complete training and ongoing CPD as a behaviour mentor

Be enthusiastic about learning new skills within a behaviour mentor role

Be willing to pay for an Enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service

Have experience in education, childcare, or care work (helpful, but not essential)
