Vision for Education are working closely with a primary school located in south Peterborough to appoint an experiened Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil who has additional needs and requires support.

About the role

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and emotional development of a child with special needs or challenging behavior. Working closely with the class teacher and special educational needs coordinator (SENCO), you will create a positive and inclusive learning environment tailored to the individual needs of the student. This is a full-time role from Monday-Friday.

About the School

This is a 'Good' school based in Peterborough. This school will offer regular training sessions to staff to help develop a positive team ethos and always increasing knowledge and awareness around a variety of subjects.

Requirements:

• Recent experience working within a Primary school as a Teaching Assistant
• Experience working with children or young people with additional needs
• To be patient, kind and resilient
• To be willing to process or have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

Salary

£89- £100 per day
