The National Teaching Assistant Program (NTaP) is recruiting dedicated, empathetic individuals to train and work as SEND Teaching Assistants in schools across Essex.
What You’ll Do
As a SEND Teaching Assistant through NTaP, you will:
- Provide tailored support for children with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, dyslexia, SEMH, and physical or sensory difficulties
- Work one-to-one or in small groups to help pupils access learning and build essential skills
- Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing, communication, and independence
- Implement strategies and resources recommended by teachers and specialists
- Create a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive
