Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking School. In this role, you will work with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, delivering high-quality, personalized learning that enables every child to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Use a range of strategies and interventions to support communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents/carers to ensure holistic support for each pupil.
- Track progress and maintain accurate records, providing insightful feedback and reporting.
- Contribute to the wider school community and champion best practice in SEND provision.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status / Proven experiences in Planning, Preparing and Marking
- Experience working with children with SEND (ASD, SEMH, SLD, MLD, or other needs).
- Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and adaptive practice.
- Resilient, creative, patient, and committed to seeing every pupil succeed.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A reflective practitioner with a desire for continued professional development.
