You’ll work alongside experienced teachers, gaining valuable insight into effective classroom practice and behaviour management — excellent preparation for those hoping to progress into teacher training in the near future.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons across all subjects and key stages.

• Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils who may need additional guidance.

• Assist teachers with classroom preparation, resources, and displays.

• Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, nurturing learning environment.

• Step in to supervise classes where required, following pre-prepared lesson plans.

• Participate in school events, extracurricular clubs, and wider school life.

We’re Looking For:

• A motivated and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with children.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• A reliable, proactive, and flexible approach to supporting learning.

• A genuine interest in progressing toward a career in teaching or education.

• Prior experience working with children (school-based or otherwise) is beneficial but not essential.
