Manchester – Crumpsall
Start Date: September 2026.
Contract: Long-term with additional daily supply opportunities available.
Salary: £600 – £800 per week (dependent on experience and pay scale).
Qualification: QTS required.


About the Role

Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Cheetham Hill, Manchester from September on a long-term basis.

This role is perfect for a Primary Teacher with Key Stage 1 experience who enjoys helping pupils build confidence and develop strong academic foundations before transitioning to secondary school.

As the KS1 Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum, supporting pupils in developing key skills in reading, writing, maths and the wider curriculum. You will work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and school staff to create a structured and positive learning environment where pupils feel motivated and supported.

This position would suit a KS1 Teacher, Year 1 Teacher, Year 2 Teacher, or experienced Primary Teacher seeking a long-term teaching opportunity in Manchester.

Requirements

To be considered for this KS1 Teacher role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE with QTS.

  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 in a UK primary school.

  • Good knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum.

  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging and structured lessons.

  • Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies.

  • A professional, reliable approach and the ability to work effectively with Teaching Assistants and colleagues.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • QTS
