1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Primary School – Romford

Vision for Education are currently recruiting a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to work in a friendly and inclusive primary school in Romford. This is a rewarding role supporting a pupil with additional needs on a one-to-one basis, helping them to access learning and thrive in the classroom.

The Role

• Providing 1:1 support to a primary-aged pupil with additional learning or behavioural needs

• Supporting the child academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the school day

• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies

• Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement, and independence

• Assisting with classroom activities and adapting learning where needed

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with children in a school or SEN setting (preferred)

• A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach

• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE, Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable but not essential
