  • Adapt to pupils’ changing emotional or behavioural needs with patience and understanding.

  • Support with personal care and moving & handling where required (training can be provided).

  • A dedicated, welcoming team that works collaboratively to support every child’s progress.

  • Strong community values and excellent pastoral systems.

The school is easily accessible from Salisbury, Tidworth, Bulford, Durrington, and surrounding areas.

Requirements

To be considered for the Youth Worker position, you will:

  • Have a genuine desire to support children with additional needs.

  • Be patient, nurturing, and emotionally resilient.

  • Have experience supporting children or young people (formal or informal).

  • Have some understanding of SEN such as ASD, communication needs, sensory needs, or SEMH.

  • Be confident with behaviour support and building rapport with pupils.

  • Be willing to assist with personal care when required.

  • Hold a DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.

  • Have your own transport (desirable).

  • Be open to CPD and ongoing training opportunities.

Salary
