About the role

Salary: £600 – £800 per week (ECTs welcome – paid to scale for long-term roles)
Contract: January to July
About the Role
We’re looking for a confident, enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join a lovely primary school in Hyde from January 2026 through to the end of the school year. If you’re passionate about helping children achieve their best and want to join a supportive, welcoming team, this could be the perfect fit.
You’ll be taking on a friendly Year 6 class of around 30 pupils, with the support of a fantastic Teaching Assistant. The school has a great team spirit—staff share ideas, work closely together, and really care about creating a positive environment for the children.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Planning and delivering lessons that prepare Year 6 for SATs while keeping learning fun and meaningful
- Adapting work so all pupils can make progress, including those needing extra support
- Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school team
What We’re Looking For
- QTS or PGCE
- Experience teaching in a primary setting, ideally KS2
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Someone positive, flexible, and passionate about making a difference

- Relevant primary teaching experience
