The School and Role
This ‘Good’ primary school, based in Peterborough are looking to appoint an experienced, and motivated Year 3 Maternity Cover Teacher to work in a KS2 class on a full time basis. Working in this primary school you will be part of an established and supportive team. This is a full-time maternity contract from January 2026 - July 2026, however part-time (4 days per week) applications will be considered for the right candidate.
Requirements
- To hold QTS
- Knowledge and understanding of the KS2 curriculum
- Enthusiastic and engaging teaching style
- The ability to provide a positive learning environment and effectively manage a classroom
- Have recent and relevant teaching experience
The desired Year 3 Maternity Cover Teacher will have
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- An ability to work as part of a team
