Vision for Education are currently looking for a part-time Year 1 Teacher to work 4 days per week at a Primary school in the Downham Market area.

The School and Role

The role of Year 1 Teacher will be starting in April 2026 and the desired candidate will be required until July 2026. There is a chance that the vacancy may continue into the new academic year. The vacancy has arisen due to an internal promotion. This role would be suitable for both ECTs and experienced Teachers.

The pay rate for this role is £140 to £224 per day, dependent on experience.

Requirements

The desired Primary Year 1 Teacher will have;

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience of working with primary school aged children
  • Full DBS clearance
  • Two references to support recent teaching employment
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude to working
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
