Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)

Location: Caerphilly
Pay: £444.60–£509.60 per week (dependent on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and the Role

We are working with a large, well-established Welsh-medium primary school in the Caerphilly area that is seeking a passionate and dedicated Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will work within a large nursery class, supporting young learners as part of a welcoming and experienced staff team. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed Teaching Assistant who is fluent in Welsh and has a genuine enthusiasm for early years education.

Requirements

The ideal Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with primary-aged children

• Experience supporting pupils with ALN

• A strong passion for supporting children’s learning and development

• The ability to work effectively as part of a team

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply – support provided)

• EWC registration
