Welsh-Medium Primary Teacher

Vision for Education urgently need enthusiastic, flexible, and committed Welsh-Medium Primary Teachers to join schools across Swansea and the surrounding areas on a supply basis, with opportunities for longer-term placements as roles become available.

You will primarily be placed in Welsh-medium primary schools, although opportunities within English-medium settings can also be offered if desired. Working as part of supportive school teams, you will deliver engaging lessons and assess pupils’ work across the primary age range.

Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs). Any supply work completed will contribute towards your Induction Year. Wherever possible, we will aim to match placements to your preferred Key Stage or area of expertise.

Requirements

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have recent experience teaching the Welsh curriculum
• Be fluent in Welsh and confident delivering lessons through the medium of Welsh
• Have experience or a specialism within the Foundation Phase and/or Key Stage 2
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
• Be able to motivate and engage learners effectively
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
