We are looking to recruit trainee youth workers to support pupils in friendly and supportive primary school environments. This opportunity is ideal for trainee youth workers who are passionate about working with children and want to gain hands-on experience in schools.
As trainee youth workers, you will:

Work closely with pupils who need extra emotional, behavioural, or learning support

Build positive relationships as trainee youth workers to help children feel safe, included, and ready to learn

Support classroom routines, play-based learning, and transitions throughout the day

Use youth work approaches as trainee youth workers to encourage confidence, resilience, and social skills

Assist teachers and pastoral staff in creating a nurturing and structured environment

Respond calmly to challenges while developing your practice as trainee youth workers
