Vision for Education are looking for reliable and committed people who are looking to build a career in working in schools, as a Teaching Assistant. We are offering a set number of places for our National Teaching Assistant programme in April 2024.

About the role

You will receive training and support and in the final stage be offered a 5 day placement working within a primary school in Peterborough. Once you have completed the placement we will be able to offer you either day to day, short term or long term TA work. This is a great opportunity for someone who has always wanted to work as a TA but never had the hands on experience of working within a school.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Trainee Teaching Assistant you will:
  • To be committed, motivated and passionate about working with children
  • To hold an enhanced DBS check or be prepared to undergo this check with Vision for Education
  • To be reliable, resilient and a team player

Salary

£70 to £80 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
