Vision For Education are excited to provide this incredible opportunity as a Trainee Teaching Assistant, no previous experience or qualifications required, just a love for helping others! We work alongside our client schools within the City and County of Swansea on a supply basis to provide successful Trainee Teaching Assistants with high quality training and paid on the job experience. As part of the registration process you will be able to decide which areas of Swansea you would like to work in.

About the role:

As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you will be required to support primary aged children in the classroom under the direction of the class teacher. The role can vary from each school, and you may be required to run small group interventions or working 1:1 with a child to ensure their needs are being met.

Following a successful interview and pending suitability, safeguarding and identity checks, we will work to secure you paid placements on a supply basis in schools to further develop your skills. We will help you to develop your identity as an educator and help you to choose your specialist area from EYFS, KS1, KS2 to ALN provision.
