About the role

Trainee TA

SEN Schools | Bristol & Surrounding Areas

Full-Time | Long-Term | Training Provided | Immediate Start

Hours: 08:30–15:30, weekdays, term time only | Pay: £13.68 per hour

You don’t need previous SEN experience to become a trainee TA, full training and ongoing support are provided. This trainee TA role is ideal for someone who is flexible, reliable, has access to a vehicle, and can work calmly in stressful situations.

Our schools support pupils with autism, learning difficulties, communication needs, sensory processing differences, and SEMH needs. As a trainee TA, you’ll play a vital role in helping pupils feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. Every day as a trainee TA brings new challenges and rewarding moments.

We’re looking for a trainee TA who:

  • Is seeking a fulfilling career as a trainee TA

About the trainee TA role:

  • Full-time, long-term trainee TA placements in SEN schools

  • Supporting pupils with a wide range of additional needs as a trainee TA

  • Providing 1:1 support, small group work, and classroom support as a trainee TA

  • Helping pupils with routines, communication, emotional regulation, and learning as a trainee TA

  • Receiving structured training, mentoring, and ongoing guidance as a trainee TA

  • Working in fast-paced, sometimes demanding environments as a trainee TA
