Trainee SEN Teaching Assistant North Tyneside (Full Time) £350-450 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications) April 2024 – ongoing (Long Term Role)
About the role
This ‘Good with Outstanding Features’ EYFS, Primary, Secondary and Post-16 SEND school, based in North Shields is looking to appoint a passionate Trainee SEN Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage 1, 2, 3 or 4 classes as classroom support on a full-time basis. Working in this EYFS, Primary, Secondary and Post-16 SEND school as part of an established team, the desired Trainee SEN Teaching Assistant will be working on a small class sized basis in KS 1,2, 3 or 4 with pupils with SEND including Autism and Moderate Learning Difficulties. This full time Trainee SEND Teaching Assistant role is long term from April ongoing.

- • Be able to demonstrate at interview the reasons why you want to start a career in education, and explain your understanding of the role of a Teaching Assistant and the important part they play in the school community.
- • Be willing to pay for an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service.
