About the role

We are working with a wonderful Nursery in Chichester who are seeking a full time Trainee Nursery Assistant to work Monday to Friday, term time only. As a Trainee Nursery Assistant you will be given full training whilst working in the role. You will be required to work with children aged 0-5 and will be expected to work shifts between 8am - 6pm, which can vary each week. You will be expected to work between 20-40 hours per week.

Located in 4.5 acres of garden and woodland, the property retains many of its stunning original features, such as windows, fireplaces and a stone roof whilst benefiting from being completely refurbished to our very high standards.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Trainee Nursery Assistant you will:
  • To be able to work in either Nursery, Primary, Secondary or SEND
  • Have a passion for supporting and helping children
  • Be willing to pay for an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service.
  • Be committed to completing the required training and participating in ongoing CPD.

Salary

£12 to £12 per hour

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
