A Primary school in Longsight is looking for a pro-active and passionate Teaching Assistant to work with their Early years foundation stage team in supporting an EYFS classroom, educationally, emotionally, physically and socially.
About the role
The role will include providing support to the children during lesson time and outside on a small group and 1:1 basis. The successful candidate will be confident in supporting children across all areas of the EYFS Curriculum and Phonics.

The school is a voluntary controlled, Church of England school in the heart of Longsight. The 2-form entry school caters for children from 3-11 and provides a secure and nurturing learning environment for the children so they can grow and develop academically, emotionally and holistically.
Requirements
- Be hard-working and pro-active in the preparation of learning provisions
- Have excellent EYFS curriculum knowledge and be able to confidently support children of all abilities
- Understanding of the reforms that came into effect in Sept 2021
- Be willing to contribute positively throughout all aspects of the school day
- Be an excellent team player and communicate well with the other members of staff

Salary
£10 to £10 per hour
