Role: Primary Teaching Assistant – Ashton (Tameside)
Location: Manchester, Tameside.
Start Date: September 2026.
Contract: Long-term with Daily Opportunities available.
Salary: £462.80 – £500 per week (dependent on experience and scale point).

The Role
Vision For Education are seeking an engaging and proactive Teaching Assistant to join their motivated team. Focusing on the whole child and ensuring that every pupil is supported to be the best they can be, the school is striving for outstanding in every area. The school is located near the Glodwick area of Oldham and is part of a large multi-academy trust.
Requirements
To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:
- Have experience working with children either in small groups or on a 1:1 basis.
- Be patient, calm, and supportive.
- Be able to provide a safe and positive learning environment.
- Be nurturing and encouraging.
- Support and engage pupils in lessons and classroom activities.
- Assist the teacher in delivering learning activities and educational support.
