Teaching Assistant – Clevedon
£14.24 per hour (subject to increase) | 08:30am – 15:30pm | Full-time / Long-term

Vision for Education are proud to be working in partnership with a highly respected specialist provision in Clevedon to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and forward-thinking team.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils aged 4–19 with a wide range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, Learning Difficulties, Challenging Behaviours, Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties, and Complex Needs.
You will work closely with class teachers and multi-disciplinary teams to:
- Support pupils with communication, interaction and emotional regulation
- Deliver tailored learning activities in a structured, nurturing environment
- Promote independence, life skills and positive behaviour
- Build meaningful relationships that help pupils thrive

This specialist setting is an all-age provision designed to meet a wide range of SEND needs, supporting pupils from early years through to post-16.

Staff are well-trained in areas such as managing challenging behaviours, safeguarding and child protection, becoming a Teaching Assistant and SEND, ensuring you are fully supported in your role.
If you are going into this role as a Trainee Teaching Assistant, Vision for Education will provide you with additional training courses to complete after a successful interview, which include, Safeguarding and Child Protection, Behaviour Management, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, and an Introduction into being a Teaching Assistant.

- Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff
