Teaching Assistant – (Part Time, Temporary)

£444.60 - £450.13 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role:

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming and supportive primary school in Wallsend. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in working as a Teaching Assistant and is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons

- Working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to support learning and progress

- Helping to create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment

- Supporting pupils with varying needs, including SEND where required.

- Assisting with classroom preparation and resources

The ideal Candidate will:

- Have experience working within a primary school environment

- Be patient, nurturing and enthusiastic about education

- Have strong communication and teamwork skills

- Be adaptable and proactive within the classroom

- Hold a relevant TA qualification
