About the role

Urgently Needed!

Vision for Education are looking to register Teaching Assistants within Swansea who could work on a 1:1 basis with children with a variety of Additional Learning Needs such as Autism and ADHD on a supply basis. These children are integrated in mainstream classes and you will be provided with all the information needed to support each child/placement beforehand. You will also be working closely with the class teacher. This role requires highly motivated, adaptable, committed, enthusiastic and resilient Teaching Assistants with great communication skills and a proactive approach to supporting the Teacher. You will have experience working with young people with Additional Learning Needs. You will work as part of a dedicated and committed team that have a child-centred approach in all they do. The roles we offer are on a supply basis as and when primary schools require cover and so we can work around your availability and the locations you are able to travel to.

Requirements

The desired ALN Teaching Assistant will have: -

- Experience of working with primary aged children or young people, ideally on a 1:1 basis

- A passion for the progress of pupils with Additional Learning Needs

- An ability to work as part of a team
