About the role
Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant (KS1 & KS2) – Full Time
Location: Moston area of Manchester (M40)
Pay: £450–£500 per week (depending on experience/qualifications)
Start Date: April 2026 | Long-term position
Vision for Education is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming 3-form entry primary school in the Moston area of Manchester (M40). The school is rated Good by Ofsted and is known for its supportive staff team, organised classrooms, and positive learning environment.
This full-time, long-term role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with children and helping them stay focused, take part in lessons, and grow in confidence. You’ll be part of a friendly school team and will support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, both in class and in small group work.
What you’ll do

Support the teacher with day-to-day classroom activities.

Work with pupils one-to-one and in small groups.

Help children with reading, writing, maths, and phonics.

Support pupils who need extra help, including those with SEN.
What we’re looking for
-
Experience working in a primary school as a Teaching Assistant, LSA, or Classroom Assistant.

A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

Experience supporting KS1, KS2, or SEN pupils is helpful but not essential.

Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children and staff.
