Role: Primary School Teaching Assistant (TA) – KS1 & KS2
Area: Tameside (Ashton-under-Lyne, OL6)
Pay: £450 – £500 per week (dependent on experience & qualifications)

Vision for Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced Primary Teaching Assistant to support local primary schools in the Tameside and Ashton-under-Lyne area. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated TA, Classroom Assistant, Learning Support Assistant (LSA), or SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding long-term role in a supportive school environment.

The Role

As a Primary School Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum

• Provide 1:1 support or small group interventions, including supporting pupils with SEN or additional needs.

• Assist with literacy and numeracy development in KS1 and KS2.

• Encourage pupils’ independence, social skills, and emotional development

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Classroom Assistant, or Learning Support Assistant in a primary school
  OR

• A relevant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
