A small and cohesive Primary school setting in a desirable area of Haringey are seeking a full time Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 2 team, as soon as possible.

The school is 1 form in entry, and is led by a driven leadership team who can offer you a clear and structured working environment. Children here are eager to learn, and behaviour is of an excellent standard throughout.

The successful Teaching Assistant must display positive methods of reinforcement of praise, and be consistent in their approach when managing key children within class that display signs of disruptive behaviour. They will be responsible for taking small intervention groups, as well as support on a 1:1 basis when called upon.

Safeguarding of its children is at the heart of everything, with the school being praised for both its pastoral support network, and its processes in protecting children and young people.

The school is accessible from both Highgate and Muswell Hill broadway

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

  • Experience of supporting within Key Stage 2
  • A fully enhanced DBS registered to the update service, along with 2 professional references.
