The School and Role:
We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Eastbourne. This role is available full time, supporting pupils across the school, and is ideal for someone passionate about helping children succeed academically and personally.
You will work closely with class teachers to support learning in the classroom, deliver interventions to small groups, and provide additional support to pupils who need it most. The school promotes a positive, inclusive learning environment and values teamwork and strong relationships.
You will be joining a dedicated and friendly staff team who are committed to providing high-quality education and pastoral support for all pupils.
The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:

Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting

A patient, caring, and flexible approach

The ability to support learning across the primary curriculum

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Experience supporting pupils with additional needs is desirable but not essential
