Vision for Education is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work at a school in the Prudhoe area.

About the role

This is a full-time Teaching Assistant role, which will commence at the end of March 2022 on a long-term basis. Working hours will be 8:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday.

Working as part of a dynamic and creative Key Stage 2 team, the successful Teaching Assistant will be required to provide general classroom support as well as some smaller group interventions within the Year 4 classroom.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
  • • Hold a minimum of a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
  • • Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 2.
  • • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team.
  • • Have experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis, although not essential.
  • • Have a patient and caring nature.

Salary

£325 to £400 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Minimum of a Level 2 in childcare
