Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an English Teacher to work in a Secondary school in Sunderland. This is a full-time teaching role starting from September 2022.

About the role

The ideal candidate will be a qualified and experienced Teacher of English and ideally will have experience of delivering English to learners who have Autism. Class sizes will be no more than ten students, and you will need to work closely with a Teaching Assistant in each lesson.

The school is a dedicated SEND School for young people that have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) for Autism and other complex needs.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teacher of English *September Start* you will:
  • QTS or QTLS ststus
  • Be able to plan and deliver varied and engaging lessons
  • Open and engaging personality with excellent behaviour management skills
  • Be able to differentiate lessons for class sizes of no more than 10 students

Salary

£105 to £130 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • QTS
  • Recent and relevant experience
