Vision for Education are recruiting for an Art & Design Teacher for a school based in Preston, Lancashire to start Easter 2022

About the role

• Teacher of Art & Design

• Full Teaching Timetable – Monday to Friday

• Key Stage 3 & 4 in a mainstream Secondary school

• small requirement to cover some Key Stage 3 DT lessons

• Temporary starting April 2022 till July 2022

This large Secondary school is based to the North of Preston with close links to the M6/M55 motorway. It has been praised for its friendly and supportive staff and students. the last Ofsted report graded the school as 'good' commenting on particular areas of excellent pupil progression as well as quality of teaching within the school.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teacher of Art & Design you will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
  • Be adaptable and flexible
  • Have a flexible approach to work and be able to think on your feet
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
  • Have excellent classroom management skills
