Vision are looking for a dedicated Teacher to work full time in a Pupil Referral Unit in Northumberland

About the role

Teaching Key Stage 3 students in a Pupil Referral Unit. The ideal candidate will be comfortable delivering PHSE and Art, to students in Key Stage 3 that have been excluded from mainstream schooling.

About the school

The school caters specifically for students that have been excluded from their mainstream schools. Students often struggle to regulate their own emotions, so someone with excellent behaviour management and who is skilled at handling volatile situations, is essesntial.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teacher for Pupil Referral Unit - PHSE and Art - Key Stage 3 you will:
  • Hold QTS or QTLS Status
  • Have excellent behaviour management skills
  • Have a desire to work with some of the region's most disaffected young learners
  • Be able to remain calm in volatile situations

Salary

£110 to £140 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • QTS or QTLS
