Supply Teacher - Lydney (Bank Staff)

Vision for Education are looking for adaptable and confident Supply Teachers to work across a range of schools in the Lydney area on a flexible bank staff basis, starting immediately or from September. This Supply Teacher role is ideal for a qualified teacher who enjoys variety, wants full control over their availability, and is happy working across different school settings.

As a Supply Teacher, you will step into classrooms to deliver pre-set work, manage behaviour, and maintain a positive learning environment across primary and secondary schools in Lydney and surrounding areas. This Supply Teacher position offers day-to-day flexibility with the option for longer-term placements depending on your availability.

Responsibilities of a Supply Teacher:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across different subjects and year groups
• Maintain classroom behaviour and keep pupils engaged
• Ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher
• Adapt quickly to new school environments as a Supply Teacher
• Follow school policies and procedures in each placement

Flexible Supply Teacher Work (Bank Basis):

• Day-to-day and short-term cover
• Flexible scheduling based on your availability
• Work across primary, secondary, and specialist settings
• No long-term commitment required

What we’re looking for in a Supply Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Flexibility and adaptability across different schools
• Reliable and confident in a Supply Teacher role
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
