Supply Teacher – Secondary
Location: Beverley & East Riding of Yorkshire
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: £140 – £251.71 per day (dependent on experience and assignment)

The Role

Vision for Education are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Secondary Supply Teachers to work across a range of schools in Beverley and the East Riding of Yorkshire from September 2026. This is an ideal opportunity for teachers who are looking to achieve a better work-life balance in the next academic year, while continuing to make a positive impact in the classroom.

We welcome applications from teachers of all secondary subject specialisms. Successful candidates will have the flexibility to choose assignments that suit their availability and preferences, including daily supply cover, short-term placements, and medium and long-term fixed-term roles. Whether you are looking for full-time or part-time work, supply teaching offers variety, flexibility, and the chance to gain experience across different school settings.

Vision for Education work in partnership with a wide range of secondary schools across Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire, including academies, maintained schools, and multi-academy trusts. Our partner schools are committed to high standards of teaching and learning and offer supportive environments for both students and staff.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Supply Teacher – Secondary, you will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Have experience teaching within a secondary school setting
  • Be confident delivering lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential)
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Be adaptable, reliable, and committed to high-quality teaching
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service
