Supply Teacher - SEND

Location: Bristol and surrounding areas
Salary: £120 to £220 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Flexible supply work - you choose your days
Start date: Ongoing

About the role

Are you a passionate and flexible Teacher looking to make a difference across a variety of school settings?

Vision for Education is looking to appoint a dedicated Supply Teacher - SEND to work across a range of specialist schools in Bristol and surrounding areas. This is a highly flexible role where you choose your working days, and can accept both pre-booked placements and same-day bookings.

You’ll be teaching pupils with a wide range of needs, from Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) to Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and more complex learning profiles.

About the Role

  • Teach children and young people with diverse additional needs across multiple schools and provisions.

  • Work in primary or secondary settings, depending on your experience and preference.

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that support pupils' individual needs.

  • Be supported by experienced teaching assistants and school teams in each setting.

  • Choose your availability – whether you want 1 day or 5 days per week, we work around you.

  • Be open to both advance bookings and on-the-day supply work.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build your experience, expand your network, and find the right long-term environment for you.

About the Schools

You’ll be working with a wide variety of SEND schools, alternative provisions, and mainstream settings with specialist units. Every school is unique, but all share a commitment to inclusion, support, and child-centred learning.

Expect welcoming teams, well-structured support, and a chance to make a real impact across different learning environments.

✅ Requirements

To be considered for this flexible teaching role, you will need to:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Have experience (or a strong interest) in teaching pupils with SEND.

  • Be motivational, reliable, and adaptable to different settings.

  • Have a passion for celebrating all learning and supporting pupils of all abilities.

  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.

As a valued member of our team, you will receive:

  • Excellent daily pay rates, paid weekly via our in-house PAYE payroll team.

  • Access to our Guaranteed Pay Scheme (subject to availability and criteria).

  • FREE professional development including Team Teach, safeguarding, and more.

  • Full compliance with AWR (Agency Workers’ Regulations).

  • Pension contributions (qualifying period applies).

  • A dedicated consultant who supports you personally and professionally.

  • Generous refer-a-friend scheme.
