Sports Teaching Assistant – Monmouth

A specialist education setting in Monmouth is recruiting a Sports Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and dynamic education team, working with pupils aged 7–16 with Additional Learning Needs, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH.

This role is ideal for someone who is resilient, reflective and passionate about being a positive role model. You will work closely with students in the classroom and across a wide range of enrichment and physical activities, helping to create positive, engaging learning experiences every day.

Your role will involve supporting learning, emotional regulation, communication skills and personal development through active and practical approaches. Activities may include football, basketball, pickleball, badminton, forest school sessions, creative play and other enrichment opportunities.

You will be joining a provision that delivers a broad and balanced curriculum aligned to the Curriculum for Wales. Building trust, resilience and wellbeing sits at the heart of the school’s ethos.
