Sports Graduate Teaching Assistant – Chepstow

As a Sports Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils both in the classroom and through physical and enrichment activities. You will support lesson delivery, work 1:1 and in small groups, and help create a positive, inclusive and structured learning environment. Your sports background will play a key role in developing pupils’ confidence, resilience, teamwork and engagement with learning.

This role involves travelling between different school sites in the Chepstow area, therefore a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential. Mileage is paid for travel between settings.

You will be joining schools that place a strong emphasis on personal development and staff progression, with an excellent track record of supporting graduates into teacher training and long-term education careers.

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a Sports Graduate Teaching Assistant who:
• Holds a degree in Sports Science, Physical Education or a related subject
• Has a genuine interest in supporting primary-aged pupils and/or children with additional learning needs
• Brings energy, enthusiasm and a proactive approach to each school day
• Communicates effectively and builds positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Is resilient, adaptable and eager to develop within an education setting
• Holds a full UK driving licence and is able to travel between sites
