About the role

Vision for Education is currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Sports Coach Supply Teacher to join our team of dedicated supply teachers. This exciting opportunity involves working within secondary schools in and around Colchester on a daily supply/part-time basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and effective sports coaching sessions to secondary school students.
  • Providing cover for absent teachers, delivering pre-prepared lessons, and ensuring a productive learning environment.
  • Supporting students in their physical education and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle.
  • Maintaining high standards of behavior management and classroom discipline.
  • Collaborating with school staff to contribute to the overall educational experience of students.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Sports Coach/ Supply Teacher - September Start you will:
  • Previous experience as a sports coach or relevant qualifications in sports coaching.
  • Experience working within secondary schools.
  • Valid enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply for one).
  • A commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and safeguarding.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments.
  • Have a full CV stating all job roles, with months and years included since leaving secondary school.
  • Have a minimum of two professional, verifiable references.

Salary

£90 to £100 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Experience working within secondary schools.
