Salary: £475 - £500 weekly dependant on experience and qualifications.

Outstanding Sports and Arts Therapy Assistant required for Irlam!

We are looking for a Sports and Arts Therapy Assistant to support children with complex needs who are currently in a mainstream primary school setting.

This role is ideal for someone who can use arts, drama, or sports-based approaches to positively engage pupils and help them regulate their emotions and redirect them into a positive mindset and get back on track with their learning.

Requirements

The requested skillset the desired Early Years Teaching Assistant you will require;

  • Work with children who require a specialist and creative approach to learning and behaviour support
  • Use arts, drama, movement, or sports activities to help diffuse situations and redirect behaviour
  • Support pupils with emotional regulation and engagement in the classroom
  • Build positive relationships with children who may struggle with traditional classroom approaches
