Contract: Full-time / Part-time | Term Time Only

We are working with a welcoming primary school in Thurrock who are looking for a Specialist Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This is a rewarding role supporting pupils with additional needs, helping them to access learning, build independence, and thrive both academically and emotionally.

Your Role Will Include:

✨ Providing tailored support to pupils with SEND (1:1 and/or small groups)
✨ Supporting learning across the curriculum alongside the class teacher
✨ Helping pupils with emotional regulation, communication, and confidence
✨ Implementing strategies from the SENCo and external professionals
✨ Creating a calm, positive, and inclusive learning environment

✔ Has experience working with children (SEND experience desirable but not essential)
✔ Is patient, empathetic, and resilient
✔ Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team
✔ Is committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
