About the role
You will be working under the guidance of the teacher to support and ensure students with SEND have the best possible experience in lessons in a caring and respectful environment. You must have the ability to inspire and develop pupils in all areas of learning and achievement, a commitment to contributing to school life and community, and have a passion for learning and raising standards. Previous experience of working with children with SEND is preferred but not essential and other backgrounds will be considered.

Various SEND schools and provisions across North Tyneside who cater for SEND pupils aged from early years up to post 16.
Requirements
- Have a calm, patient and empathetic nature.
- Have a desire to engage and support children and young people in learning and education.
- Previous experience of working in an educational or care setting with young people with learning difficulties.
About Vision for Education
Salary
£300 to £450 per week
- Experience of working with young people with learning difficulties (education, coaching, care settings)
