Vision for Education are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming SEND school in Nuneaton who, due to school expansion, are seeking to recruit a Teacher of English for a permanent vacancy.
About the role
We welcome applications from teachers with SEND education experience and/or mainstream teachers looking to transition into SEND education.
The main purpose of the role is to provide inspirational and outstanding teaching whilst nurturing a safe, secure, and caring educational environment. The role will comprise of planning and teaching English lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4.
The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching learners with SEND (predominantly ASC) and will form part of a staff team who put young people at the heart of everything they do.
About the school
The school provides education for young people aged 11 to 17 that have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and often associated social, emotional, & mental health needs.
They believe all children and young people are entitled to a nurturing environment that demonstrates care, empathy, and support in order to help young people identify positive aspects of their everyday lives.
Requirements
- Teaching qualification with QTS / QTLS
- Experience working with young people with SEND / ASC (desirable)
- The ability to engage and motivate young people
- Understanding multi agency working and collaboration with parents/carers
- A passion for making a difference to the lives and education of young people with SEND

Salary
