Are you a passionate and learner-focused Tutor committed to transforming the lives of young people with SEND and SEMH needs?
Vision for Education is seeking a SEND Employability Tutor to lead and develop Inclusive Education provision. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students who face barriers to education, training and employment, helping them build confidence, resilience and clear pathways into the wider college community, supported internships, apprenticeships or employment.
About the Role
You will develop and deliver engaging, inclusive pre-employability programmes tailored to students with SEND and SEMH needs.
Key areas of delivery will include:

Workplace behaviours and expectations

Communication and teamwork skills

Confidence, motivation and resilience

CV writing, job search techniques and interview preparation
You will:

Adapt teaching strategies to meet a diverse range of learner needs

Build positive, professional relationships to promote engagement and progression

Monitor learner progress, set meaningful targets and maintain accurate records

Work collaboratively with colleagues, employers and external agencies
-
Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion at all times
This role requires a nurturing, restorative approach to behaviour management and a strong commitment to supporting every learner’s journey.
About You
We are seeking a motivated and innovative teacher who:

Has extensive experience delivering study programmes to students with SEND/SEMH
-
Is passionate about improving outcomes for young people at risk of disengagement
-
Creates engaging, high-quality learning experiences
-
Is resilient, adaptable and learner-centred
-
Ideally holds (or is working towards) a Level 5 teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE)
-
Assessor or IQA qualifications are desirable but not essential
