An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work in a large Primary school in Hunts Cross, Knowsley. Joining their dedicated SEND team, you will be given the opportunity to thrive in this Ofsted rated 'Good' school that focuses on creating fun and engaging access to learning for all children.

The school have recently been granted additional funding for a pupil in KS1 who has ASD and is currently finding the classroom environment overwhelming. They are looking for a nurturing and passionate Teaching Assistant to start immediately, on a full-time basis, providing one-to-one support both in the classroom and in their dedicated sensory areas. You will work closely with the class teacher, therapists, and parents to ensure an effective communication and development plan is in place for the child.
