This large, SEMH School based in Harrogate are looking to appoint a passionate Trainee Teaching Assistant to teach in a small group and 1;1 with learners who have SEMH needs.
About the role
Vision for Education are looking for a Trainee Teaching Assistant who is looking to learn from the school as well as work their way up whilst earning money and experience. Working in this SEMH School as part of an established team, you will be required to work on a therapeutic wrap-around support and work on the school’s curriculum model. You will become trained to be an expert at play-based therapy and learning and trauma informed and restorative practice. The right candidate will need the right skills and attributes to work with vulnerable children.
