About the role

The role
Vision for Education is currently recruiting a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a Primary school in Leeds (LS5). Working in the SEN provision supporting a Year 2 child with complex needs, the desired SEN Teaching Assistant will be working on a 1:1 basis. You will have a caring personality with experience of delivering targeted interventions in a pastoral setting to variety of children with different needs.

The school
This school has a ‘good’ Ofsted rating and is a central hub within the community. There is a SEN provision within the primary school, this is where you would working, supporting pupils with SEND.

Requirements
The desired SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• Have experience working with Primary School aged children.

• Have experience working with pupils with SEND.

• Have a passion for helping to support teaching staff across all subjects.
